The Saltire Centre, Caledonian University, Glasgow
This wonderful new learning centre, part of Glasgow Caledonian University, has been evocatively described as 'a place of endless possibilities'.
The brief called for a building that would provide a range of spaces - 'from the monastic to the mall'.
The interior spaces create a dynamic busy environment that almost assault the senses with colours, shapes, sounds and light.
This vibrant educational and social hub is a true 21st century building, pushing the boundaries of design whilst never forgetting its core functions.
