The Holm, Orchardton
This project is a house for internationally acclaimed potter Will Levi Marshall and his family.
A language of semi - industrial elements was used for both house and pottery.
The pottery sits at right angles to the living wing to form enclosure to the entrance forecourt and parking area and to provide screening to the private garden.
The house is expressed as two distinct wings forming an L shape.
The living wing is open plan with an expressed steel frame, Douglas fir joists and decking.
