Maggie's Centre, Highlands
Maggie's Highlands Cancer Caring Centre at Raigmore Hospital Inverness is a copper clad one and a half storey timber frame building designed by Page and Park with adjacent landscape designed by Charles Jencks.
The building and landscape composition is inspired by the theme of cell subdivision as a unifying metaphor.
But its much more than that - it provides a warm and homely environment for the users of the centre, whilst also being a contemporary, uplifting and stimulating place to be.
