A superb but incredibly tight site - the judges were impressed by how the architects maximised its potential. A solid base presents a platform for a light glazed pavilion which addresses the view as a constantly changing backdrop. The detailing and construction is beautifully handled.
The judges enjoyed the visit enormously.
