
1. There are no individuals drafted on to the Urban Design Panel - the
membership consists exclusively of groups, societies, and other organisations
nominated by the City Council.
2. When their usual representative is unable to attend a Panel meeting,
it is the responsibility of the nominated member organisation either
to field another representative or to tender an apology.
3. Where the position of any representative is compromised in some way
(see below) by one of the presentations being made at any particular
meeting, then that individual should not attend the entirety of the
meeting. Compromising factors are:-
(a) Where that individual will take part in the delivery of one of the presentations.
(b) Where that individual is closely associated with any of the presenters
e.g. as an employee, work colleague or as a close relative.
(c) Where apart from the specific remit of their organisation, that
individual has a financial or other interest in the development under
discussion.
4. Should there be other reasons why the representative wishes to attend
the meeting in question, this may be arranged at the discretion of the
Chairman.
